Details report suggestion

Hi all,

We have one Income Statement Details report needs to be developed. This includes Acoount, Account no, sub-aacounts,us currenct & local currency. Currently we have a TM1 cube for this already built. While creating small part of report using cube it is taking so so long time (7/8 mins).
So my question is- Do we need to use relational model for any details report instead of dimensional  (cube)?

Pooja,

Although there may be exceptions, reports showing details are usually better served by a relational package - where summarised measures are usually better supported by a cube (TM1 or PewerCube).

If you built the TM1 cube from a relational package, then you can consider querying the relational package directly for the detailed report.
