RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at least one database during a multi-database

Hi,

Could anyone tell me the solutions/suggestions for the below problems that i faced during the datasource connection:

QE-DEF-0285 The logon failed.
QE-DEF-0325 The logon failed for the following reason:
RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at least one database during a multi-database attach to 1 database(s) in:
"Data source connection name"

UDA-SQL-0432 Unable to locate the gateway "cogudaor"

Since i am fresher i dont know how to proceed.  Please help me.

Didn't check the article, but "cogudaor" is something with your Oracle client. Can you connect to the DB from the server outside cognos? That's where I usually start.

What kind of DB is it. I think an Oracle, but to be sure: What type of DB is it?

Is it with every Oracle Datasource?
The steps I would take:
- Reboot Server (sometimes this occurs when Oracle is just installed)
- check if 32-bit version of the Oracle client is installed
- run in dos prompt: SQLPLUS user/pwd@<tns-name>
- check the tnsnames.ora

i met the same problem； i can login oracle with sqlplus,but with cognos it's worng

i solved the porblem by set environment variables and reboot computer， see it in the attachment
