RESOLVED Cognos 10.1 and User unable to access Report View

I have a few users who are unable to access reports when they are saved as report views but can access the native report from the same folder is copied there.

The report on my machine shows the standard PDF icon with the 4 blue squares in the top left denoting a report view.

I have attached a screen shot of what she is seeing - it is not the same as me.

The only other thing I noticed was there is no Default URL whgen she hits the link View the search path, ID and URL inside the properties window - where I see one in my version.

Losing my mind as this is only a few users. They are in the same group but I have gone through each permission and they seem to be the same as all the other groups.

Hope someone has seen this before

turns out I had execute property set on the public folder but not the master folder where the native reports are kept.
