Cognos Developer

Work with a programming team to build and maintain Cognos reports for teachers and administrators throughout the New York region. Develop reports and queries to access data requested by schools. Help k-12 students in the region improve their learning and help k-12 teachers improve their instruction through the use of the data and reporting that you provide.

Qualifications:
Intimate knowledge of Cognos 8 and Cognos 10
Knowledge of SQL, Oracle and MS SQL Server.
Experience in programming in PHP, Java and/or other languages.
Experience in building reports from queries.
Experience in MS Office Excel, Access and MS Windows

Education:
BS- Computer Science  (minimum)

Experience:
2 Years  corporate, non-profit experience in programming (minimum)
Hourly consultant with possible permanent position.
