Slider Conditional Style

In an active report, I'm trying to use conditional style on a list to indicate that a particular percent value is larger than desirable.  I turn the column red if it's beyond 45%. 

I'd like the user to be able to set the threshold value via a slider, but can't figure out how to do it.  I've set a variable to the slider that captures the percentage, but can't figure out how to reference the value in the conditional style (also don't know if this is the right way to do this).

Any help would be appreciated.
