Using a data item twice within a report with different filters for each instance

Hi All

Hopefully someone can help me - I am quite new to Cognos and am currently using Impromptu 7.5 with an Oracle back end (not sure of the version).

In a report I need to use an Employee Number field twice but it needs to be filtered/linked differently each time.

I have a 'From Employee' and a 'To Employee' , each type has theie own unique reference in the background and I need to use something like:

Employee Number Where Ref = From Employee Ref for the first instance

and

Employee Number Where Ref = To Employee ref

Is this possible within a report ?
