HI,

We just bought enhanced Consumers licenses and I'm trying to configure my users using the built-in cognos roles and capabilities

Does anybody knows what cognos built in roles I should give to my enhanced  consumers so it reflect the licenses we bought

Thank you in advance

1) In the Cognos namespace create a role called "Enhanced Consumer"
2) Add the required users or groups etc to this role
3) Add this role to "Consumers" - this ensures it can do whatever "Consumers" can do, and then
4) In Capabilities/Executive Dashboard, remove Consumers and add Enhanced Consumers.

Technically, mere "Consumers" are not entitled to use Cognos Workspace, so this ensures they can't, and the new Enhanced consumers role can use it.

If an Enhanced Consumer licence applies to those 2 then that's what you do. However I'm not sure those are included in an Enhanced Consumer licence. You'd need to check.

The Enhanced Consumer role gives access to Mobile but not Cognos Insight. You would need the Advanced Business Author role to have access to Cognos Insight.
