OP-ERR-0025 after upgrade Cognos 8.4 to 10.2

Hi all,

I did an upgrade from Cognos 8.4 to 10.2 and after the process I had an issue when one report is executed.
I didn't find any content specifically about this error.

OP-ERR-0025
  The following OLAPPlanner internal error occurred 'OPASSERT(sSetMetaItem != NULL) in OPQueryType::ApplySlicersToNonProjectedMeasureSets() at OLAPPlannerQueryRollup.cpp:1972

Somebody else know this error and how I fix?

I'm trying to start a support call with IBM but I didn't receive any answer yet.

Hi Ezequiel,

This is were I would start make sure you renewed your Renew the credentials  under My Preferences> Personal from cognos connection to rule out LDAP or AD issue which occurs bring an upgrade. Try running it once the credentials are renewed.

If it still errors outs open it up in report studio can you list out the objects like list, crosstab, charts... And also when you did the report upgrade did you do a report spec upgrade too? The reason I ask is if you were using legacy charts and they got converted in to the new charts some features have changed and might be the cause of the error.

After this I would look into the queries and see if the query are able to validate, well this should get some sort of starting point to debugging.
