RS CSS Hell...

Hello everybody,
Has anybody ever could integrate nice jquery UI or other sofisticated CSS design into a report Report studio ?
Viewed with chrome it may be acceptable, but with IE... no way. :o
I am very frustated...
I want to make a nive dashboard and all I can do is an old fashioned report... stupid.
I try to integrate some part that work fine *without* cognos under IE and it really sucks as soon as it is embeded in a report...

It seems that cognos reparse everything on his page. grrrrr....

can anybody help me ?

You are trying to build the dashboard within Report Studio? That is not really the usual way to do Cognos dashboards. There is a built-in dashboard creation tool in Cognos Connection, though I find it a bit frustrating to work with personally. Click on the grid-like icon in the upper right toolbar to get started. Alternatively, have you tried Business Insight (now Workspace)? It has a lot of capabilities you may find applicable.

Although I have read of people using jquery and have used javascript myself when necessary, I would avoid using javascript. It is somewhat fragile between Cognos releases, so you might find yourself with significant extra work every time you upgrade Cognos.
