Cascading prompt question

I have a report that uses report picklists for a series of cascading prompts (area, region, site).  I would like to insert a prompt variable to display in the main report's header.  The prompt variable is for one of the subreports though.  Is there a way to do this?

Hi Lara

Here is one way you can do it.

Put the main report and all sub reports in one form frame.

Select the list frame containing the sub report with your prompt variable.

Next from the insert menu select 'Insert Prompt Variables'.

select the desired prompt and locate mouse pointer in the main report header.

This works I tried it out myself
