Call CMD (Dos) or .sh (Unix) command

Hi All,

Is there a way I can call or activate an OS command (dos-> cmd / unix -> *.sh) from a Report Studio where I want to use the Prompt Page as input for the command line?

I want to use a Report Studio report with a Prompt Page .
The values from this prompt page are the input values for the OS command.
After the OS 'program' is finished (it's creating a file), I want to use the OS 'program' output as the input for my Report Studio.

Hi,

Have you tried trigger.bat utility, please see this topic might shed some light. So some info about this you create an event studio report to set to run when this trigger.bat utility calls the function.

If not I think you can try to find out if it's something SDK provide.
