Scheduled reports take longer in Production

We have a Test and a Production environment.  I have report job that runs a bunch of reports to saved outputs.  When I run this job in TEST (using a data source against the production database), the reports take about 45 mins and each individual report doesn't take very long.  When I run this same job in the Production environment, against the same data source pointing to the production database), there porets take between 8-10 HOURS to run.  I even tried to run the jobs at the same of time of day, to see if maybe there was a timing difference.

I submitted a case to IBM but just recieved back a link to the old Cognos 8 performance tuning documents.  I will review these, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or other ideas?

Cognos BI 10.1.1
Report Studio reports, running against a FM Package against an Oracle 10 db.

I have already reviewed the database for possible tuning/indexing and that is evident when I run the reports in the TEST environment.

Thank you

So if I follow correctly, the only difference is the Cognos server you run on? The database is the same one? If so then it has to be the Cognos server, and it would not be a database tuning issue.

If you run an individual report on the prod server, does it come back in a reasonable amount of time? Is this a particularly busy Cognos server? Do you have, or can you work with someone who has, access to the server? There are some report tracing facilities that might help determine why it is slow, but you'll need access to the server.
