Embed cognos in portal

Hi,

My customer has own portal developed using java, They want to embed cognos in to it. When i launch the portal one tab should show cogns reports > cognos report links > prompt page > report output in same portal.

Business user should not know which tool it is, look and feel should be changed in cognos viewer. What is the maximum number of parameter it can be sent? Provide high level solution or if u have implemented pls share details.

If you use the SDK, you can pull content (e.g. reports or even parts of reports) from Cognos into their portal. Another option would be the portal components that ship with Cognos, but there are requirements that have to be met to use them on the Java server side. Yet another option would be to build a customized version of the Cognos portal and use an iframe.
