Formatting y-axis in line chart when value is a percentage

Using 10.2, I have a line chart and my y-axis is in percent format.  I have gone into the properties of the primary axis and manually changed the axis range maximum to 1.  Yet when the report is run some of my charts will go up to 110% on the axis scale.  In my data I never have anything greater than 100%, so the scale of the axis should max out at 100%.  Any suggestions on why setting the max value property is not working or if there is any other solution I could try?

thanks
Jeff

Hi,

By default when Cognos gets a value of 100% in chart it shows the scale upto 110% in Y axis.
But setting the maximumn range should have solved this. It works for me, though I have not tried in 10.2, but works perfectly
in 10.1.1.

Hi,

Did you get a solution for this issue in which chart is showing 110%?

dpearce

If you set the maximum value to 1.01 rather than just 1, the 110% is not displayed.

HI guys I'm facing a problem trying to format y axis range.

when I set it manually as follow : maximum = 262/minimum=73/major interval =17  I don't see any change when I run it but when I check  logarithmic scale box just for testing purpose I see a change   I really don't unterstand what's going on. By the way my cognos version is 10.2.2  may be it's an ongoing global issue  please any kind of help will be very appreciated .

Thx guys
