PDF Printing & Page Sets

I have a report which consists of an Employee Profile, which is mostly 1 page, however some employee profiles roll over to a 2nd page.

If a user wants to print a group of employees, is there a way that the user can select double sided printing, and those employees that only have 1 page show up on a new single page?

for example, 3 employee reports end up on 4 printed PDF pages, and Employee 1 prints on page 1 AND 2. Employee 2 prints on page 3, Employee 3 prints on page 4.

to save paper, it would make the most sense to have Employee 1 print on both sides of page 1, while Employees 2 and 3 print on seperate pages, thus printing on 3 physical pages, rather than 4.

Has anyone ever run into this problem?

Thanks!

adik

this is out of scope for Cognos, this is strictly a printer setting

Go Green.

One alternative approach could be,  You can set the PDF report properties and rows per page property.
But this may reduce the fonts in Printout.
