Creating a chart

Hello All,

I am probably missing something obvious, but cannot figure out what it is.

I am trying to create a simple chart in Cognos - It's a series of totals by date.

So, I created a new chart report, used SQL for my query (data is not available in a package), and dropped the total field into the x-axis, and the totals into the series and tried various combinations (including none) in the default measure (y-axis) field.

However, when I run the report, all I get is an empty chart. Data is being returned from the query - I have it returning in a list on the same report.

Any ideas as to what I am missing?

I am getting real good at finding answers just after I ask a question..  8)

I just had to set the properties of the columns for the aggregate  function..
