to remove columns in RS report for zero values

Hi All,

I have an issue on my report as i need to remove all columns where the total is 0, before the FIRST non zero value appears. However, I cannot use suppression because i need to show the columns with 0 after getting the frst non zero value for the total. 
I am thinking to add a running total of columns and apply a suppression as a work around for this. Does any body knows how to add a running total on columns. Any suggestions
