How to create a link between a Chart and a List

Hi All,

I am new to Cognos Report Studio. I am looking for help from experts.

Created a List using with multi dimensions and drill up/drill down behavior. Created a Chart. Values in the chart are NOT changing according to the change in values while doing drill-down/drill-up in the List.

Is it possible to create link between a Chart and List?

Does the same data item appear both in the list and chart? Is it the same query?

If the answers are Yes and No, open Drill Behavior->Data Item Linking and double click on the items from both queries.

If the answers are both no, create a new data item: total(currentMeaure within set [Drilled Item]) and drag that to the slicer.

Thanks PaulM for the quick response. We tried with the solution 1 that you have given. List is properly get updated but Chart is not getting updated even after Data -> Drill behavior -> Data item linking -> link both the queries.

Is they any thing I missed out. Thanks in advance.

Use same query for both List and Chart
