[RESOLVED] - Business Insight Autorefresh

Hi folks,

I have seen this question asked a few times but see no solid responses.

I have a business insight dashbord made up of 8 widgets....list and chart mix.
Compiled from 4 report studio reports.

The dashboard is meant to go in a public area as a live information display.

How can I set this to autorefresh every 60 seconds?

A html script on the report studio reports doesnt work.
I have looked at doing it by refreshing the actual IE window with HTML as below.
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="15">
But IE developer tools cannot be opened from the dashboard.

Any ideas?

All very easy if you have Cognos Real-time moinitoring installed.

It is the only way I can see to fully automate Business Insight

It does cost quite a bit, though, and your data needs to be modelled independently for use in RTM.

That's true MF, and apart from the price they are having all sorts of problems with it.

It may be pulled soon for a complete rework.

In the interim I am kicking and screaming about a patch to make it base with the BI suite  :P

Let's see how that goes :o :o
