Send email from report

Hi gurus,

I've been trying this for days and it looks like I cannot find any solution, hopefully you can help me.

A bit of background: There is a master report, from a cube, kind of a dashboard, where the users filters and drills (up/down); There is a table with the numbers. Currently those numbers have a drill-through with all the parameters ( 8 ) pointing to a relational report with all the detail.

Well, I want the detail report to be sent by email by default to a recipient input by a parameter. I have tried with drill-thru but there is no option for sending it by email. I have also thought about creating an agent that emails the report but I couldn't figure out how to run the agent from the report.

Any ideas?

You could consider using HTML items to send the report with the data you want.

It's something to think about and there may be javascript options as well.

I will consider that option although it will imply to put the whole report into (or surrounded) by an HTML Item...

Any other ideas using Cognos email functionallity?
