Data Source Error "XQE-DS-0009" in Report Studio

Dear all,

I am a new guy in Cognos 10.2. I just use Cognos FM create a package and deploy to Cognos server. When i use Report Studio to create a report. The error prompt. But the Data source is connect and test connect is no error.

Does any one know what is this message mean?
I have try to google, and ibm, but there is no related information about the error XQE-DS-0009

Please detail your case a bit more!

Did you create a datasource in Cognos Administration? Did you test it from Cognos Administration or you have just test the DB connection outside Cognos?
What type of permissions has the user you use for reporting?

It seems to be a datasource problem. Maybe you have got not all permission to use it, or it doesn't exist at all.

I have already create a data source for Database.

My Env:
Cognos Server 10.2 in Window Server 2008
DB: MS SQL Server

I use MS SQL Native Client with JDBC Setting to connect the Database.

The result is completed successfully.

When I use FM to create the package, it is very smooth and no error. And validate with no error. I don't know why after i deploy to Cognos Server, i cannot use it in report studio.

And i have not set any security setting for this package

What permissions did you set on the datasource?
Do you use the same user account for Cognos Administration and Report Studio?

Have you deployed your package using Dynamic Query Mode? If not, you will not be utilising JDBC, and Cognos 10 will be trying to connect via SQL Server Native Client. If you log in to the Administration Console through Cognos Connection, and find and test your data source there, do both compatible and dynamic connections test without error?
