dynamic prompting

I have a list report with stock code and stock item in the columns,
requirement is to provide a filter where user can choose value on the report page and can submit to get the required data.
actually filter should be on both columns.
how can this be done?

You have allready wrote down the solution.
You just have to insert a prompt item into the report page, and set auto submit for it or insert a prompt button and set the button type to reprompt.

After you did it, you can run the report and change the prompt value dinamically.
