Time function in Excel 2007 format

I am trying to display the current time using time function in the Report Header. It shows without any issues in the HTML and PDF formats. But in excel 2007, it shows error and asks to repair. " Excel found unreadable content in 'Report.xlsx'  Do you want to recover the contents of this workbbok? If you trust the sourceof this workbook, click yes. "

Can you please try to cast the date as String and check if it works well with Excel.

Hi,

Can you tell exactly which function you are using in Report header. Are you using AsOfTime() function there using layout calculations?
Please write teh exact function here so that we can do some research.

I jus dragged and dropped 'Time' from the toolbox. It is supposed to show the time during the report run

Hi,

I just dragged Time from toolbox in report header. I am able to run the report in excel 2007 format without any issues. I am using Cognos 10.1.1.
