Hi,

I have a number of calculations (n= 40) within a couple of financial reports Im building.

I wish to display negative values i.e, -$56.908 or ($34.675) in red.
Does anyone know how I can do this across my entire report without doing a seperate Conditional Formatting for each calculation.

Cheers,
steve

If each item is its own query time in the query, the answer from Cognos support is no.  Of course we threw out to them that in PowerPlay (7.1) you could just do a column provided all the data points were of the same type.  They logged it as "an enhancement".  That was MR1 and still haven't seen it as an available function.  So until then you will either have to find a nifty way to generate all your data from one query item or write a conditional query for each item.
