Has anyone experience of connecting Cognos v10 to SQL Server 2012. Any issues so far?
Is SQL Server 2012 formally supported by Cognos 10.1 yet? if not any thoughts on possible availability?

I'd like to know if you have accessed SQL Server Analysis Services Cubes and relational tables.
Has anyone has used the new columnstoreindex feature in SQL Server 2012 and does this work with Cognos v10.

I could not connect to sql server 2012 using native or oledb connection. I spoke to someone at Cognos and they confirmed sql server 2012 is not yet supported. This link also confirms it:

If SQL Server 2008 native client doesn't work, I'm guessing that JDBC and ODBC probably will, but of course they will not be supported at present. If you want to log anything with IBM you will need to reproduce it against a supported version of SQL Server in order to get support.

Any news on this?

i would love to move to 2012 as i am in the start of redesigning my SSIS processes and i want to update them in 2012 SQL....

I would imagine there will be a short wait until IBM can add support for SQL Server 2012 and test it before releasing. It's not supported currently is all anyone can say.

Cheers!
