Pre Run Dashboard

I have created a dashboard with 10 widgets , and 1 prompt. This 10 widget are from same report studio report. Based on prompt all widget value will get change. Now my question is , when  change the prompt and and save the report, whil i reopen the dashboard it should not connect it to backend database , it should use most latest version dashboard. So that i can avoid loading the images every time i open

By Default Business Insights Dasboard goes to Databse to load the widgets. This is same as clicking refresh on Dashboard.

You can use report views if you don't want the report to go back to the database. But then you will only able to see the data recnt to the time report views were generated.
