Bursting Reports with Drill throughs

Hi Guys,

I am hoping someone here can help me out.

I have a series of reports that I would like to burst.
Some of these reports have drill-throughs to another detailed report.

The burst works well and users can access the reports only if these are sent as Attachments. The drill-throughs in the report(even sent in as attachments) do not work though.

If, however, the main report and it's drill through report are sent as links (as COGNOS recommends), then it asks the user to LOGIN again and ultimately throws off an error.

These links work for me though (I have developer rights).

It looks like a security/rights issue. But my Admin hasn't been able to figure this out.

I am not sure if this is due to some error in the Event Studio or in the security/rights.

Anyone else have this problem? I have gone through a whole lot of material, and am at my wits end:)

Much appreciate any help or suggestion. Will pass on any advice to my admin if any.

Best

MFGF

What is the exact error reported when users try to access the reports via links?

MF.
Meep!

Thanks MF,

Two types of errors seem to be generated:

If the bursts are sent as Links, then the error is:

DPR-ERR-2069
There are no output versions for this report

(The above err is generated if either report link is opened ie. the Main report or the Detailed report (which is the drill report)

And if sent as an attachment, the user is able to open the attachment, but is not able to drill-through. The error is that case is:
Page cannot be found.
