WHAT ARE POWER PROMPTS?

Hi,

PowerPrompts are not part of the Cognos 8 function set.  They were (are) used with Impromptu Web Reports to add extra functionality to the reports by coding a series of preceding web pages which present prompts via HTML controls then run a script to apply the answers to the report as it runs.  All of this functionality can now be coded within the reports themselves in Cognos 8, so they are no longer used in the Cognos 8 suite.
