Text Wrap Not Possible in Excel 2007 With Cognos 10.1

Dear Gurus,

We are using Cognos 10.1 and running Excel 2007 output. Few of the list titles are lengthy like "Excess Reinsurance Recovery for the client". We need this text to break after a gap between the words. This is working fine with PDF output but not working with Excel 2007 output. I tried "RSVP.EXCEL.XLS2007_ALLOW_WRAPPING_SINGLE_CELL and set the value to TRUE" but this didn't resolve the issue.

Please let me know how can this be resolved.

Where did you set the advanced parameter?

Thanks for the reply. I have tried it in both the below mentioned areas but no luck.

1. Dispatchers and Services --> Properties --> Environment  --> Advanced settings
2. Dispatchers and Services --> Configuration --> http://XXX:9300/p2pd -->         a) BatchReportService --> Properties --> Environment  --> Advanced settings
b) ReportService --> Properties --> Environment  --> Advanced settings

Please let me know if I am missing something..

I am having the same issue. When I export to Excel 2007, I am unable to increase the row height to accomodate word wrapping. I therefore have a extremely long column widgth when I have a lot of characters. Is there anyway to display the info without truncating to a maximum 50 or so charactors so I can keep the spreadsheet to one page width?

Can you check with end of line is spaces is there, if space is there please remove it and please add this parameter in the reportdata services also. and restart the cognos service. it should be work.

Try giving a fixed width to the column
