ReSOLVED - Cross Tab Row Visibility

Hi Again,

I have a cross tab where I have a month field and a customer field where I cased the months into numbers so i could sort the month name properly. I want to hide the month sort column but the Visible property os not an option for me to select.

How can I keep the sort but remove the row. I have tried unlocking the report and cutting the row out, box type to none....all I haven't done is colour it white

please help

Bret, there is an easy way to do this. If you have your month name as your columns, click on the month name (cross tab node member) and then select the 'Sorting' property under 'Data'. Choose the data item you created that will order the columns. You do not need to have the item on the crosstab in order to use the sort.

Thank you Cindy - I had it added to the Detail Sort list but not in the group section - Once i did that I was all set
