How to improve the report performace

Hi,
i am having to tables on is 5lakh and other one is 7000 . joins are 4 .

let me know how to improve the report performance please .
My reports are take too much of time

Sorry - I can't understand your post. You want to know how to improve the performance of one of your reports? How is the report written? How does it retrieve data? Where is the data coming from? How is the data structured? How are you connecting to it? How has the data been modelled? Is the report aggregating data? Are there any complex calculations? What filtering is being done? Are there any prompts? How much data does it span?

If you can give us details of some of the above, we may be able to make some suggestions...

sry man, im not sure as well...
but if you want to improve your report running performance, i suggest to make as many calculations on the server level (etl) and also create indizes on your tables...might get you some additional boost. But dont ask me for the details, im horrible on etl and server stuff :D
