Hi everyone,

I am a new one to use Cognos Express.
I have Cognos Express and MS SQL Server Analysis Service 2008.

I must doing a simple task in a rapport. I have to extract a single value from a cube. This value depends on tree dimensions.
I use IBM Cognos WorkSpace Advanced and i created a crosstab report. This values appear in the crosstab.
But, how can i delete title, auto created totals,... to isolate the single value that i need.

Does i use a list and create a MDX query instead ?

Sorry for my poor english.

Thanks

Hi,

First, Let me confirm my understandings.
1. To hide the totals in the reports.
2. Inserting the one particular level in a dimension.

Let me expand one by one.
2. For inserting the one particular level just expand the dimension & select the levels which ever you need & right click -> insert into row / Columns. You can give how you want in the report.

1. To hide the auto totals in the report you can hide both row level & Column level totals by selecting the totals then right click -> hide. This will hide the auto totals. You have to do separately for row & column levels.

Please try & let me know if you have any queries.

Thanks.
