Impromptu Catalog and Access Manager Lost Passwords

We are using Impromptu and Access Manager with Cognos 7.4 and there doesn't seem to be anybody that has the password for a couple of the Access Manager default.csa files.  The files define user access for a particular server and I need to gain Creator access to some Impromptu catalogs also with lost passwords on that server.  I've tried the default passwords without success.

I would prefer to not re-create these catalogs as I dont know exactly what databases and tables are used (the names/fields are aliased). Is it possible to get access to these files without the password?

I have heard there is an IBM utility that comes with Cognos called "CatalogPickLock.exe" and this utility allows the user to reset the password for a catalog.  Is this tool available online? or is it only on the installation media(CD/DVD)?

catalogpicklock was installed with the product into the cer<x>/bin directory.

It's not there in version 7.4.4 though (the latest version I have installed), so it looks like it may have been removed from the install at some point. Check the bin directory one your machine to see if it's there. (assuming you haven't already that is).

I believe that this was used by Cognos Support to get access to catalogs when the password was lost, but I never did figure out how to use it. (when you run it, a dialog box with a single 'Close' button appears)
