We are new to Cognos 8 and in the process of converting from Cognos 7.3.  We build 30 cubes daily and are looking for the method to engage load balancing across our servers.  Where do you set the load balancing in Cognos 8?  Currently all of our cubes are pointed to one server in Cognos 8 using the connection string window in Cognos administration Data Source connection tab for the powercubes.  Where can we set up another server and apply the load balancing feature.

thanks for your help!

Option1:
Install a second server with just the "Application Tier Components" which will give you a dispatcher.
Once booted, it will register itself as a regular dispatcher to the Content Store, and start server requests.
If you have cubes stored like D:\cubes\sample.mdc each dispather will look locally for the cube.
The load balancing is then in place.

Option 2:
Install a second server with all 3 the options ticked, creating a backup gateway, a dispatcher and a backup content mamanger.
Same as above, but then including a full fallback, should server 1 go down.
