Column titles for the row header in a crosstab?

Okay this may be a really dumb question but I can not work it out....  I would like to have column titles for the row header on a crosstab report.  This column titles would be in the crosstab corner.

The picture shows what I want.  I would like the first four columns to have titles (where I have indicated with the blue boxes).  Is this possible?

Hi kerryn,

You can achieve this by using the Crosstab space / cross tab space with text. You need drop these crostab spaces after your rows in the cross tab based on your no. of Data items used in the Rows side...Then you need to hide all empty cells at the Measures area for crosstab spaces...then you need to hide the measure heading ...

Then you can rename the headings ......

Hi, You can Insert crosstab space with text and change as required

Hi, Kerryn,

I have the same issue.  Were you able to add headers to your rows?

Thanks,

MFGF

Does the crosstab space suggestion above not work?

I didn't really understand Sanjeev's suggestion.  So I asked if Kerryn were able to make it to work.  Do you add the crosstab space as new columns? or rows before/after each column?

MFGF

Right - I see.  Add the crosstab space in the rows area, above the first real row heading.

I can add the cross table space above the rows.  But I only have one column where as I have four columns in the example above.

Is it possible to obtain four columns that align to the row header columns that I already have, or so I have to add a table with the text fields and then fix the column width sizing to align everything here?

More pointers would be helpful.  Thank you.

I used crosstab space with fact cells.  I noticed that it works fine with one column header.  But when I add 4 column headers all on the same row, the report runs a long time with incorrect data or overflow error.  If anybody has tried to add more than 1 column header successfully, I'd appreciate if you can share with us.

Unlock your report.  Add a table in the Crosstab Corner that has the same number of columns as the data columns, one row. Add text items to each column and type in the header name.
