Hiding Columns in a Cross Tab needed for Sorting

Hello, is any familiar with making a column hidden but still using the column for sorting purposes on a crosstab report. When I set the box type property to 'None', my column headers shift to the right. So the other question is how can I keep my column headers with the columns. Thank you. Cindy  ;)

I solved this by changing the 'sorting' property on the column to the right of the column that I want to delete. After I added the column to the sorting list, I was able to remove the unecessary column and preserve the formatting.
