In Excel you can format text to show at a 90 degree angle (top to bottom or bottom to top). What is the property in Report Studio? For instance if I wanted the column called 'Jan' to display like this:

J
a
n

Thanks!

Hi have you tried looking at the Text Flow & Justification property?

bi4u2

Wyconian,

None of these options apply. This is what is in that property and none of them are applicable to what I am trying to do.

Direction
Sets the reading order of an object, such as right to left.

Writing mode
Sets the direction and flow of content in an object.

Bi-directional
Sets the level of embedding in an object.

Type
Sets the type of alignment used to justify text in an object.

Kashida space
Sets the ratio of kashida expansion to white space expansion when justifying lines of text in the object. This property is used in Arabic writing systems.

Wyconian,

I just started trying all of the options in 'Text Flow & Justification'. The setting is 'Writing Mode" : Top to Bottom, Left to Right

Thank you for the help!

Lynn

I think wyconian is correct.....writing mode is the closest you'll find for your requirement. Try setting it as "Top to bottom, right to left".

This will flip it so you'd have to tip your head to the right to read it. It will render sideways in HTML or Excel 2007, but not PDF or Excel 2002. I'm on C10, but I think it is the same in 8.
