removing the help from the menu bar

hey guys, i wanted to hide the help oftion in the report studio in the menu bar. please help me out if any1 has any solutions

Hi Avinash,

Can you pelase mention as to why do you need to hide the help from the menu bar as I am not able to understand the use case for this.


However you can navigate to the path mentioned below:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ibm\cognos\c10\webcontent\skins

After navigatign to this location you will see variosu skin types available in Cognos Connection for ex: business, Contemporary etc.

Each of this contains a  common folder named "Shared". Editing that folder might serve the purpose.

If this does not work then you can try with the other folders named qs or pat within each of the Skin types.

Actually Shared, qs and pat are three basic folders which are responsible for report studio.

You can try with these options mentioned above.

Another method could be trying with "Reportstyles" folder present at below location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ibm\cognos\c10\webcontent\reportstyles
