PowerPlay / Transformer Version 7.5

We accidentally found out about this new release that supports the newer operating system platforms.  If anyone has upgraded to this version from an earlier Series 7 version, I would like to connect with you.  We'd like to understand the effort in moving to this version and if you encountered any serious problems in the 7.5 version.

What version are you on?

Move from 7.4."any version" to 7.5 is easy and has no issues. Well that is unless you are using Cognos Query. Query has been deprecated as of 7.5.

We have one business unit on 7.3 but most of the company is on 7.4 for PowerPlay.  Impromptu is a different story.  We have a mix of versions from 7.0 to 7.3.  Never upgraded to 7.4 because of an issue with hot files.

Well then you've got some splainin...er I mean work to do.

I'd suggest you get everyone on 7.4.4 across the board, including the server. Once this is done, start with upgrading the server to 7.5. Once the server is done and stable move the users from 7.4.4 to 7.5.

I don't envy the mess you have. I really cannot express how important it is IMHO to clean up first before.
You're just asking for trouble mixing versions.
