How to remove page breaks or increase # of rows per web page?

Hi folks,

I am struggling with getting a report to run in HTML format without any page breaks.  I designed it using HTML tags to use multiple tabs to navigage to different report sections and so don't want Cognos to break report into multiple pages which forces user to click on next/previous page buttons.

It work fine if I simply run the report from Cognos connection after setting "Advanced" option for "Number of rows per Web page" to 1000.

However I don't see a way to specify this option inside multi-page Cognos portal which launches Cognos Viewer.  I can set only the window height on Cognos Viewer property, which has no effect on Cognos report pagination.

The report contains both combination chart and a couple of lists (on separate tabs).  I tried to embed the chart inside a table as  well (setting # of rows property for the table), but that had no effect.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks in advance,

Gene

hi
select the entire List or crosstab
Go to properties pane and the property Rows per page is displayed where you can enter the number you want to set.

Thanks, Saumil.  I did that already.

A few more hours trolling through Google results showed the way to me:

File -> Report Properties -> set "Page break by data container" property to "Yes".

Select the page and and in the properties window go to PDF page set up.
Set according to your need.
