Hi Friends,

We have a data source(X) and there are multiple connections(X1,X2) defined under it.
Each time I run any report, it prompts user to select data source connection.

Is there a way to default a Package to one Connection (X2) and other Package to (X1)? (In Framework?Connection?).

Appreciate your replies.

You can apply security to to the two connections so that based on group membership, individuals only have access to one or the other connection.

Thanks for the Reply John.

But the problem is I have same group of users accessing 2 different packages.
I know its stupid but I am trying to clean someone mess

Either I need to know if Package be setup with one Data Source Connetion (or)
Will have to Create a New DataSource and then point all the reports to it.

You could create a new data source connection, and publish a new package that uses this new data source.

You could also just delete the connection you don't want used, or create a group of people, and then deny access to the second connection for that group.
