Links in new portals use wrong URL

Whenever I try to setup a new portal, the links to run a report will use our cognos server name in the url instead of cognos.domain.com.  The problems is when cognos is using the server name, I get a warning about our security certificate AND it makes me login again.

All the old portals act properly.  Any idea why the new portals are having this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Has someone changed the gateway URI in Cognos Configuration?

Not since we added a certificate (that I know of).

However, we just changed the gateway URI to our domain name and it's not giving the certificate warning anymore.  Now it's just re-prompting for login info.

Eventually we will roll out SSO so I'm hoping that will solve the re-prompting issue.  However, we are not quite ready for SSO and I can't figure out why links in a new portal would prompt for login while the links in older portals don't.

In Cognos Configuration's global settings, General tab, under cookie settings, set the domain to be your domain. That could solve the re-login issue. Look in the Installation and Configuration guide for details on how to fill in a cookie domain name and path.
