HOw to lock data in cube by TI or rule?

Hi Tm1 Gurus,
As a workaround for the TM1  workflow on the Tm1 Web, we are trying to create Workflow Staus cube along with Input sheets with Active Buttons to Submit and reject the contribution on the web.
To be more specific. I am running the SUBMIT, REJECT and COMMIT (separate TIs for each) from input sheet and the same status (i.e. Submitted, Rejected and Reserved) against the approval hierarchy node is displayed through the Workflow status cube across respective approvers and contributors group.
Only problem is I am not able to lock the data in data input form in case of Submission or untill the rejection happens by approver.i.e If I login by User who has submitted the data, the data still can be edited, (the same is possible in default Workflow).
If the same is to be achived by TI, how can I do it? Please advice.
