Filter option in ReportNet Viewer

ReportNet does not store data along with the report. In such cases, how can a user filter on a column for a report that is already executed?
Is there any workaround to this? Is there any other Cognos tool that can achieve this? Cognos Impromptu can probably do this by saving the report as a snapshot, but I am specifically looking for a web-based viewer that can achieve this.
