Hi all,

Have a requirement where in a report is built using SQL and there is a date column being displayed as DD/MM/YYYY format and this report is viewed only in Excel 2002 format. Issue here is if there is no data for any record of this column by default date is getting displayed as 01/01/1900 (Appears to be a default excel property). Current requirement is wherever this date 01/01/1900 is getting displayed need to display N/A. Not sure if it helps to change the date format to display N/A if the date is 0 since its a default excel property. One more challenge is since this issue has been reported from production and as we don't have access to production we won't be able to validate the changes we make to the data format. Could someone guide me on this.

Thanks in advance

In the data format properties for the date field, you can specify what characters do display both when there is no data, and for when the data returned is zero.  Set that field to N/A and those characters should flow through to excel.
