Connecting to Cognos Mobile via Android

I have a Tablet and a Phone - both work with Cognos mobile rather well

*Special note in this case I am talking true Cognos mobile not just the Ipad component looking at Active Reports.

When I connect I am prompted for Desktop or Mobile version to use - I normally select Desktop on my tablet.
I now see Cognos Connections as if I were connected via a normal PC

I can run all of my reports, with prompts etc without any issues, this works very nicely. Howerver... there is no Admin functionality - not just system Admin - but personal "Activities and Schedules" is also gone.

We have some Business Users that will queue up a bunch of reports when out visiting a client, they want to be able to check their report status. Currently they accomplish via a Laptop but have expressed the desire to use a tablet device for the same purpose and other than not being able to see their Schedule or Status of running reports it works like a dream for them.

Is anyone familair with any setting or change I can make to enable the Activities and Schedules for the Mobile interface?
I have a feeling this is like the studio's and explicitely excluded from the mobile interface to keep it stable etc.

The mobile interface is a cutdown set of features for mobile platforms. You could perhaps try connecting via the main URL rather than the mobile URL, but I don't know whether the browser on your tablet would support everything the main URL allows you to do. You could try it to see? Obviously, it wouldn't be a supported method of access, though.

I have come across this application call 4biplus in google play store. This application allow you to connect to Cognos server, and also set up a schedule to update your report. It seems to fit your need.
