can any one tell me the difference between OLAP AND OLTP in  context of primary and foreign keys?

MFGF

OLAP is generally cube technology, and the concept of primary/foreign keys is not really relevant to this. OLTP is generally normalized database tables, which often have pk->fk relationships inherent in the design.

What is the reasoning behind the question?

MF.
