I guess, it is a PDF report? If yes,

Then go to Report Page-->Page-->General-->PDF Page setup--> Check 'Override the page setup for this page' and check Landscape.

Does it help? If still not, then can play with the font size of your entire report as well.

You can also select the crosstab and in the properties select fixed size in the table properties option.  This will adjust your column size but beware because sometimes if it's too wide to fit on the page it clips the content.

Hi there

Report writing is an interesting topic, and although there is in most part a solution to the problem, I sometime have to wonder, why!  Why is there a need to have 20 columns or more for a crosstab?  What is the purpose of the report?  I can understand that there are needs to display all days in a month as columns and there are business needs to manage but sometimes, just as a suggestion, when asking this type of question, give a short reason for why there is a need for this type of output.

It makes the question a little more relevant to an overall solution.

Just my 2.2 cents worth.

BTW I believe that Leahmarie's solution is right as you will be forced to set the column width, however, the down side is that if a person with a small monitor or low res monitor uses the report, you will end up with scrollbars.  Web design 101 stuff.  You may need to use percentage of screen to allow for more flexibility.

Anyway, all good fun
Cheers
