Hi,

I got this problem resolved by using later version of cognos i.e., cognos 10.1.1 instead of cognos 10.1.0

Hi,

I think this is a "Negative Undocumented Feature" (NUD)  :D

It is fixed in the new 10.1.1 release (Release Pack 1), so as mahi suggests, install the latest version and things should work as expected.

Regards,

MF.

Edit: I found a PMR which confirms this:

Update:

I re-published the model using the same 10.1.0 Framework Manager and subsequently am no longer getting the "no security applied" error on this package.

Guess this means I don't need Framework Manager 10.1.1 after all.

Original posting:

I am encountering the same problem.  I upgraded BI Server to 10.1.1 but the problem is still present.

Question:  To get rid of the problem should I upgrade Framework to 10.1.1 and re-publish the package?

I tried:  Downloaded the "bimodel_win32_10.1.1._ml.tar.gz" from IBM web site, however uncompressing it with Winzip gives me an error:
=========
Extracting to "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\"
Use Path: no   Overlay Files: no
Extracting bimodel_win32_10.1.1_ml.tar
Extracting file: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\bimodel_win32_10.1.1_ml.tar
Extracting to "D:\DownloadDirector\bimodel_win32_10.1.1_ml.tar\"
Use Path: yes   Overlay Files: no
Can't create output file: D:\DownloadDirector\bimodel_win32_10.1.1_ml.tar\Autorun.inf
=========

So at the moment my Framework is stil 10.1.0.

Thanks,

Gene
