Hi All,

We are using Cognos 8.4 and Oracle 10g. Recently we have upgraded from Cognos 8.4 to Cognos 10.1. When I am trying to run any Report I am getting below error.
QFS-ERR-0141-This report service is configured as 64-bit and only supports packages published with the dynamic query mode.

You have enabled the 64 bit report service in your Cognos 10 configuration. As the message suggests, the 64 bit report service only works with packages published to use Dynamic Query Mode (DQM). To use packages published to use Classic Query Mode you will need to revert to the 32 bit report service.

Hi,

You revert it the same way you set it in the first place.

Start > All Programs > IBM Cognos 10 - 64 > IBM Cognos Configuration
Go to the Environment section
Change "Report Server Execution Mode" from 64-bit to 32-bit
Save, then restart.

If you don't see this setting, you're running the wrong Cognos Configuration utility.

Yep - as I said above, if you don't see the setting, you're running the wrong Cognos Configuration utility. The attachment you sent is the Cognos Configuration for the 32-bit Framework Manager install, not the one for the 64-bit Cognos BI server install. You're running the wrong Cognos Configuration - you need to run the one for the 64-bit Cognos Server install.
